"We enjoyed our room, close proximity to the Roman Bath, and the pool area. There is a car park not too far. We came during the “heat wave”, so we were thankful for AC. It’s so crazy that there are a lot of hotels and restaurants that don’t have AC. In Texas, it’s a must!"

"Spent one night here and wish it was more! Spotlessly clean, lovely big room and bathroom with view over Bath. Nice self serve bar and the breakfast was amazing. Will stay again when next in Bath."

"Richard is a wonderful and generous host full of gentle attentions. His Grosvenor Villa has a great history that you will start discovering as soon as you enter the magnificent lobby. A nice 20 minutes walk to reach downtown Bath, it’s a central point to discover Stonehenge, Bristol, Cardiff and the charming villages of the Cotswold. We highly recommend it and we would we would return with so much pleasure!"

"Hotel is located in the center of Bath and 12 minutes walk to Roman Bath. Walking to Jane Austen Center, circus or Royal Cresent all within 15 minutes. Room is well sized and tastefully decorated and sparkly clean. Have to mention that the bathroom was beautifully designed. Amenities provided was great, like kettle, coffee press machine, safe, etc. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Although it is in central area but night time the street was very quiet. Maybe because I am a light sleeper so I...

"The hotel is really close to the station and the city centre so very convenient. It’s super clean, really generous sized rooms and a lovely bar area. Would definitely stay again when visiting Bath!"

"Well located (15 minute walk to the baths, and on several bus lines). Nice property, excellent breakfast. Our only issue was that our room (top floor) had a sloping ceiling that you have to be careful of to avoid bumping your head and which effectively reduces the useful space in the room."

"Clean rooms, comfortable bed, one of the few a/c rooms in the Cotswolds. Friendly, helpful staff and fantastic location. We walked to the thermal bath spa and had a wonderful soak the morning that we checked out. Staff was very accommodating and keeping our bags for the day."

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"Although the property is about 30 minute walk from the city center and no central AC is in your room, the quiet neighborhood and guaranteed peace and quiet is a great perk. There are fans provided to stay cool in the summer time. If you’re driving, they have parking guaranteed for guests and the gentleman at the reception desk was an outstanding host. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and luxurious. Lastly, their breakfast was lovely. I highly recommend this property."
