"Hotel is in a perfect canal side location convenient to the Nine Streets shopping area. The common areas are spacious and welcoming. The restaurant was a lovely space by the interior courtyard garden and the breakfasts were fantastic. The rooms are large enough (by European standards) with a very eclectic layout and decor. If you like design, you will really like the aesthetic of the hotel. And the staff was exceptionally helpful and cheerful. Overall a great experience. "

"Really nice hotel, was so friendly we dropped our bags at 11am and they gave us our key card and we was allowed to check in from 2pm when it had been cleaned, we returned at around 4 and they had put the bag in the room for us, which was such a help as the stairs was steep, overall would definitely return the rooms was clean and the beds was comfy!"

"Awesome location and beautiful decor. Would definitely stay here again. Only complaint was that the room was smaller than expected and didn’t have a ton of hangers, or areas to hang clothes for both my partner and I. There was no closet… just a couple hooks on a decorative divider. "

"The hotel had a beautiful jazzy feel! Very chic! The staff was amazing!!! Shout outs to Linda, Fatima, Omyma and Kevin! They were friendly and always ready to help! The hotel was also in a great location! It was a 10-15 minute walk to major attractions with lovely cafes and restaurants around it. Will definitely return to this hotel and this beautiful city!!"

"I originally booked this hotel due to the location and price. Both of which were great! But what quickly became my favorite part of this hotel is the people that work there. "This property has tons of Amsterdam character. It is located within walking distance of Amsterdam Centraal and within the tourist canal areas. The room was comfortable and clean. My favorite part was the owners. They were extremely helpful with travel tips and so nice! We enjoyed this stay immensely."

"I upgraded to a larger room and it was extremely spacious with a king size bed, sofa, and two comfortable leather chairs. The room was extremely quiet. The hotel itself is on a quiet street off of a main boulevard so it is convenient to getting anywhere in Old Town but you feel like you’re not in the middle of traffic and lots of people. The restaurant provided an outstanding breakfast. Service was excellent all around. Highly recommended."

"Location is great. Rooms are worn-out, dark and very dusty. However, the bathroom is spacious and clean. Service at breakfast is not professional. They were lots of customers during our stay each morning and the staffs at Bridges restaurant told us that they couldn't handle with the large number of people since there wasn't enough of them. Service was very slow and unorganised. Overall, I think the hotel services and standard doesn't match with the price tag."
