"Centrally located On a busy street Watch your luggage One poor fellow had his bag stolen in the lobby as he was checking in! Minutes to the ryjkes and Van Gogh museums"

"Comfortable and good quality hotel in convenient location. Very small lobby with nice quiet sitting lounge in the back for coffee or meeting others. We did not have a chance to try their breakfast. Room and bath were good size, clean and comfortable. Not the best mattress I’ve had but good sized and fine for us. Big windows, high ceilings and furnishings are nice. Our room had a little tram noise until midnight or so, but normal for city hotel and good to have it close. A busy restaurant and bar area in the block just behind hotel. Great for our evenings though the crowds leave a mess in the morning. Convenient location to museums and a reasonable walk to main city attractions. Overall a very good place for our days in Amsterdam."

"Our stay in this hotel has been really good. Its location, steps away from the Central Square and one block from one of the main Subway stations, is perfect. The hotel is also about 10 blocks away from Amsterdam "Centraal" train station which has direct service from and to the airport as well as many locations surrounding Amsterdam like Zaanse Schans to see four wonderful windmills on you own. The room was clean although in need of more places to accommodate luggage and personal stuff. They have a nice breakfast buffet and WiFi service. Hotel staff was very nice."

"The hotel location was excellent and the staff was friendly. Free coffee and tea at the hotel's cafe area was nice as well. However, we stayed in a lower-level room, where you had to take a very narrow winding staircase to get to, which is not very safe especially when carrying luggage. The room was extremely small, the bed was small for 2 people and up against the wall on one side, and the pillows were pretty uncomfortable. Maybe some of the upstairs rooms are better, but I would not recommend staying in the smaller rooms if traveling with 2 people."
