"Unfortunately this stay did not meet our expectations! The $200 credit that was offered was not explained properly. Its not a credit, but instead a discount to amenities that cost way more than the discount offer. We also upgraded when we got there to a ocean view room, which was not explained well. Our view, was beautiful, but it overlooked the pools with a glimpse of ocean and a glimpse of the lagoon. I would have saved the money with the beautiful lagoon view. In addition we were disappointed with the food. The buffet was not good. They had food from buffet lunch out the next day for breakfast. Exact same meals and spots. We tried the poolside grill where the hamburger had hair and the cook attempted to take the hair out and still serve it after I said something. We tried multiple restaurants and still had a hard time eating. The staff was amazing, the resort was very clean, and the housekeepers were great! Overall though we were very dissatisfied for this luxury all inclusive. They did offer us a refund for the room situation which was nice but wouldn’t recommend staying here after the experience we had. Hopefully some changes will be made. "

"I recently stayed at Aquamarine Resort after booking through Expedia, and unfortunately the experience did not match what was advertised in the listing. While the room itself was generally acceptable, the bathroom was extremely small and not very functional. Additionally, the in-room refrigerator was unplugged and unusable upon arrival, which reflects a lack of proper room preparation and added unnecessary inconvenience. More concerning, however, was the clear gap between the advertised amenities and the actual experience. The listing promoted activities and themed entertainment, but in reality, activities were either poorly organized or entirely nonexistent. There were no meaningful “theme nights” as described, which made the resort feel misleading. The food quality was also significantly below expectations. It was comparable to basic cafeteria food, with very limited variety, making meals repetitive and disappointing throughout the stay. The resort also seemed to cater primarily to local visitors, and communication was sometimes challenging due to limited English among staff. While the staff were polite and well-intentioned, this did make it more difficult to address concerns during the stay. Overall, this experience did not reflect the value or standard presented on Expedia, and I feel I was overcharged for what was provided. Given the discrepancies and lack of advertised amenities, I believe a partial refund would be a fair and reasonable resolution. I hope this feedback "

"Kids loved the water park and the beach had pillow soft white sand. We didn’t have too much of a problem finding lounge chairs. Activities were a bit few and far between and it’s not really a “party” resort. More for kids and/or relaxation. "
