"I had arranged this accommodation for my son, his partner and 2 year old child as they were attending my ex husbands funeral. It came as a surprise that they had to pay $200 bond (only extra money they had for food and petrol) until it was returned at 9am the next morning when they left a perfectly clean and tidy unit. I would have preferred when making the booking, that although it seems a decretionary decision on reporting, to be informed and I would have happily covered the expense to save...

"This was a nice clean room property was taken care of the management of the place greeted you by name. They knew you by name and they would stop and talk to you. It’s centrally located in Hamilton. Very easy to get on the expressway. Go out to Mata Mata or temple view down to the West Coast very very easy to get in and out"

"👍liked, location, price, clean, comfortable bed. 👎very basic kitchenette had to use dinner knife to slice tomato 🍅, TV channels were basic, no baggage racks, no air-conditioning, heating was ok but summer would have been a problem in the room we had. OK for short term but not preferred for more than a couple of days."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean with a nice shower in the bathroom. However, the parking area was tight and difficult to back out when filled. I would recommend to the owners to put more hooks in the rooms for coats, towels etc. Also, have more than one small rubbish bin. "
