You have to take the stairs to the second floor; the steps are higher than usual. The location is fine. It is not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Great location, walkable, safe, close to everything. Apartments are very charming, unique just like the owners and family members. Train was 2 hours late. Arrived after 2AM. Owner picked us up at the station. I’m this was a wow moment. Experience it to feel how we felt. Thank you.

Most charming place! Balcony. Guitars in the room you were free to use. Extremely nice hosts. We never slept better. Perfect breakfast was included. We sure would like to return.

U’Panare is of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in, the room was beautifully decorated, located a very convenient and beautiful location and the staff went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. This b&b was amazing and I can’t wait to return soon! I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Taranto.

Dodgy neighborhood and water leak

My experience at U'Panare was disappointing. I chose this accommodation using two filters on Hotels.com: Parking and Breakfast. However, parking was not available. The owner provided a parking address, which led me through a maze of narrow streets and dead ends. I eventually found a spot in a nearby plaza, but there were people asking for money to "watch" my car, which felt uncomfortable. The neighborhood seemed unsafe, with people shouting at each other day and night. At one point, a man entered the building with me when I entered the keycode and began banging on metal doors and shouting loudly. Additionally, there was a water leak from the window. Despite the owner's suggestion that the window hadn't been closed properly, I am certain it was. This caused a large puddle in the bedroom and soaked my suitcase. Although the place was clean and the breakfast was good, I would not recommend this accommodation to other travelers.
