Mooi agriturismo waar een prachtige tuin is en een lekker zwembad(je). Meerdere dagen per week is het restaurant open met een uitstekende keuken. Prima schone kamer waar de bedden niet super lagen helaas. Met de auto is Giardini Naxos dichtbij. Goede uitvalsplek om bv de Etna en de Alcantara kloof te bezoeken.

WLAN did not work in our room - only available at public areas! Nicely renovated agritourismo. German speaking staff. Nice rooms with comfortable beds and German (and Italian) TV. Small swimming pool located in a nice garden/park with lots of lime, lemon, and peach trees. Roofed parking places within the areal at no charge! Located 10 driving minutes away from the coast (nice beaches). Generally very calm - unfortunately we had loud neighbours which did not care a bit about other tourists living there (smashing the doors in the early morning,...).

Erholungsort in guter Lage

Das Agriturismo liegt sehr schön und ruhig, jedoch nicht weit von Giardini Naxos (5 Min) und Taormina (25 Min). Ein Auto ist jedoch dringend empfehlenswert! Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und uns wurde das Zimmer persönlich gezeigt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ausreichend groß,allerdings etwas hellhörig. Das Frühstück war ok. Positiv: frisches Obst aus dem Garten, frühstücken auf der wunderschönen Terrasse amGarten Negativ: Aufbackbrötchen; Sachen die aus waren, wurden nicht aufgefüllt Für Kinder gibt es einen großen Spielplatz und genug Platz zum austoben. Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen!

Very nice setting, quiet area, free parking and clean rooms. Cons -The b'fast is pretty basic, i would have expected something a little bit better (although continental) -Wifi in room wasnt good. used 3G most of the time. The coverage might need to be improved a little bit Pros -Nice pool area -Quiet setting -Very friendly people -Rooms are spacious and nicely laid out

Wunderschöne Restaurant-Terrasse

Frühstücksbuffet gut ; Hotelzimmer sehr neu, mit Kühlschrank, bequemen Betten, aber sehr hellhörig. Pool sauber, groß, schön angelegt. Restaurant mit wunderschönem Ambiente und a-la-carte Menu. Personal spricht perfekt deutsch.

Unterkunft mit toller Pool+Parkanlage

Verkehrsgünstig. Umgebung außerhalb der schönen Parkanlage lädt nicht zu Spaziergängen ein. Essen im eigenen Restaurant sehr gut zu angemessenen Preisen aber bei leicht unterkühlter Freundlichkeit des Gastgebers. Deutliche Unterschiede zwischen gleich teuren Zimmern.

Very peaceful, tranquil setting.

We stayed for a week at Agriturismo Terrenia and would recommend it to anyone wishing to find the perfect base for exploring Sicily. The setting is absolutely wonderful with around 10 acres of grounds planted with lemon, peach, orange and cherry trees, to name but a few. We stayed in the old winery and our room, whilst very simple (as you'd expect at an agriturismo), was very comfortable and well kept. The restaurant is really outstanding with a very varied menu and a page of specials which changed every day. The quality of food and the service were excellent. My wife has a gluten allergy and we cannot praise the staff enough for looking after her, they were able to provide gluten free versions of almost everything on the menu including all the pasta dishes. Manes and his staff were tremendous - helpful, courteous and friendly throughout our stay and we were quite sorry to leave. A minor criticism would be that there were not enough information leaflets or details of local attractions, tours etc. but it could have been that we stayed at a time very early in the season and these things may have been put out a little later.

Ottima location con alcune cose da migliorare

Ottima struttura con bellissimo giardino con alberi da frutta e altre piante. Luogo tranquillo a pochi km da Taormina, dall'autostrada e dalle Gole dell'Alcantara. Parcheggio auto interno anche ombreggiato. Piscina migliorabile, piacevole ma a volte assalita dalle zanzare tigre. Cucina ottima (solo cena), in modo particolare il piatto del giorno fuori menù. Pesce fresco solo su ordinazione. Bellissima piazzetta per cenare all'aperto in tutta tranquillità, bella anche la sala interna (mai usata). Colazione buona ma ci aspettavamo maggiore scelta. Marmellate fatte in casa, ma non ci sono piaciute molto. Succhi di frutta normali, niente spremute. La nostra camera, ampia e dotata di grande terrazzo al primo piano, non aveva le zanzariere, abbiamo quindi dovuto dormire con il climatizzatore. Il bagno molto ampio era dotato di idromassaggio, vasca, doccia aperta molto grande, ampia specchiera con molti appoggi beauty case ed altro.

Tranquillo e Immerso nel verde

Ho soggiornato solo una notte con mia moglie in questo agriturismo e posso esprimere un giudizio positivo. La stanza è spaziosa e pulita con ingresso su corte interna dotata di tavolino riservato per la colazione, la zona piscina è immersa nel verde e ben curata, il parcheggio grande e dotato di copertura, la colazione direi nella media. Attenzione a chi volesse pagare con Carta di Credito, la struttura richiede una percentuale in più. In ogni caso per quello che ho visto lo consiglio sicuramente.

Anlage: hübsch und recht gepflegt, schöner Pool. Zimmer: ok, auch die Sauberkeit - bis auf die Klobürste. Personal: nett, deutschsprachig, sehr hilfsbereit. Essen: ok, aber mehr auch nicht. Lage: inmitten einer Zitronenplantage (so wirkt es jedenfalls), nicht allzuweit entfernt von Taormina. Manko: tagsüber fast ohne Unterbrechung Baulärm vom benachbarten Grundstück.

Very calm and relaxing place

The place is really a nice and relaxing place. The owners are extremely helpful and very pleasant. It is very good for children with playground and lots of space. The restaurant on the location is nice and has a decent selection. The food was very nice and the atmosphere cosy. It is closed to Taormina and you can see Mount Etna from the hotel.

An oasis of calm after sightseeing

We enjoyed it and would recommend the hotel. The evening meal was very nice and good value. The only downside was that breakfast was rather limited in its choices. We would have expected more breads, ham, cheese in an Agriturismo.

Maatilamajoitus. Lapsien mielestä paras hotelli ikinä, koska hotellissa oli koiria ja kissoja. Hieman vaatimaton mielestäni. Aamupala makea. Suolaiset ruuat maksoivat erikseen. Naapurin kukko herätti joka aamu. Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Uima-allas ei ollut enää lokakuussa käytössä.

Près de Taormina et Naxos...

Les plus: Calme, excentré mais proche* des commodités. Atmosphère au milieu des animaux et des arbres fruitiers Chambres bien rénovées. Proche* de Naxos et Taormina Paking voiture à l'ombre. * : en voiture Les moins : Pas de WI-fi disponnible. Ordi sur place (par wifi!!!) payant. Italien ou allemand, on n' y parle pas l' anglais ni le francais. Pas de frigo dans les chambres. On peut peut-etre trouver moins cher sans piscine (froide! sans faire mon difficile...) ? Le resto sur place (soir uniquement, normal c est un BeB pour tous ceux qui ralent de ne pas avoir de boissons servies sur leur transat...) est très bon mais couteux. Dans l'absolu pas de gros points noirs,... ni de super étoile. Bien. On y retournerait si... SI On ne trouvait pas moins cher ailleurs ... SI On avait une suite (belle!) au prix de la chambre : )

zeer slechte prijs kwaliteit verhouding

Wij - gezin met 2 kinderen - hebben in juli 2011 een week verbleven in Agriturismo Terrenia. Als je de foto's op internet bekijkt lijkt het allemaal prachtig. Helaas, het tegendeel is waar. Wij hadden 1 kamer met z'n vieren en deze was zeer klein en erg verouderd. Had een vide waarop een 2-persoonsbed stond. Maar de vide is te hoog voor het bereik van de airco. m.a.w. er komt daar geen koele lucht. Het was vreselijk warm. Slaapbank beneden versleten en zeer slechte vering. Er was geen kledingkast aanwezig. Naast het 2-persoonsbed op de vide stond op het nachtkastje een leeslamp, maar er was geen stopcontact aanwezig. Er was geen koelkast aanwezig en ook geen bar. Dit was een enorme afknapper want het was heel erg heet en in de agriturismo waar we een week eerder verbleven, was wel een koelkast aanwezig. Als je iets te drinken wilde moest je naar de supermarkt in het dorp, want restaurant overdag nooit open. Zwembad werd nooit schoongemaakt. De planken rond het zwembad lagen los en er staken spijkers uit, erg gevaarlijk. Er waren nergens prullebakken te bekennen. Service was zeer slecht. Eigenaren totaal ongeinteresseerd en zeer klant onvriendelijk. De website is in het Engels, Duits en Italiaans, maar de eigenaren spreken geen woord Engels en doen geen moeite om je te verstaan. Veel te duur voor wat ze bieden. Zeker geen 4-sterren waard, hooguit 2. Don't waste your money!

Azienda liebevoll gestaltet und familiär geführt

Wir haben ein schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer vorgefunden, das Essen war sehr gut und der Garten mit den Zitronen-, Aprikosen-, Orangen- und Pecannussbäumen sowie dem Pool ein super Ort zum verweilen, um die Seele baumeln zulassen oder sich einfach zu erfrischen. Wir (Eltern mit zwei Kindern 8 und 13) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, nicht zuletzt wegen der netten und zuvorkommenden Ansprache der Besitzer. Taormina und weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nah und mit dem Auto leicht und in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen.

Wouldn't go back

The hotel grounds are pretty. The staff was less than helpful which is the main reason I would not recommend this guest house. The restaurant was good. Breakfast was adequate but nothing delicious to remember or write about. Easy drive to gorgeous Taormina which is a plus. The phone number has changed so you may want to get this in case you have trouble locating the guest house. I am not able to post it, sorry. Towels are changed only every 3 days and air dried so they are hard and crispy. Great for the environment and yet sometimes you need a fresh towel.
