The best place for staying at Tamarindo! it´s very close to the town centre; you can rent a surfboard at the Hostel and go walking to the beach which takes 5 minutes. The place is very nice, swimmingpool, Chillout Zone,...and the most important thing is the good energy that you can feel there thanks to the Staff.

I really liked staying there, met some really cool people, i was in a private room and nothing ever stolen but someone did say their airpods were stolen and they were in the shared rooms. excellent stay overall very clean and very friendly and helpful staff

My wife and I had a lovely week at Pure Vida while learning to surf. Having the pool was a nice touch for a hostel. Staff kept the place clean, but there is your typical “tropical” buds/lizards etc around all the time. Very short walk to town and beach.

Good hostel

It is a very nice eco friendly hostel with swimming pool and pool table. Staff is very friendly. Good kitchen and clean bathrooms. They let me keep my bags and stay for few more hours after checkout for my meetings.

Clean and cozy hostel in the middle of Tamarindo

Lovely clean hostel with cozy shared spaces. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really relaxed and the location was perfect. Highly recommend a stay here. Perhaps a little sign up warning tourists of the pickpockets in the town would be a good idea. Telephones are stolen every weekend, ours included.

This hostel was incredible! VERY very social, easy to meet people and great kitchen. We had the hostel room with 2 bunk beds only - super clean. Washrooms were classic hostel washrooms, and the pool was super clean! The BEST location - 5 min walk from the beach and strip in Tamarindo.

We stayed with our kids ages 6 and 9. We were the only ones there with kids, but it was great and the kids loved the fireball and jenga. Safe. Well equipped kitchen. Pool to cool off in that the kids enjoyed. Bunk beds were super comfortable. Quiet time is at 11pm but kitchen closed at 10 so it was quiet enough at 10pm. Bathroom situation wasn’t ideal, but it’s a hostel. Close to a small grocery store, super close to the beach, affordable. The highlight was the surfing lessons. Julien was great! but Helena who gave both our kids multiple lessons was such a gem, we will always have great memories of our stay!

I originally planned on staying here for only 2 nights but I ended up staying a whole week! I love this hostel if I were to go back to Tamarindo I will definitely be going back! The staff were amazing and super friendly (shoutout to Lucas!) It felt like family and was a great place to socialize and hang out with other people staying at the hostel. They have plenty of rooms and bathrooms and a big kitchen to cook. It’s cleaned throughout the day and is kept very nice. Highly recommend!

The place is very close to the beach and town but on a qùiet road. The kitchen was large with plenty of space to work. The staff is very helpful.
