Hotel Pasatiempo is right in town and walking distance to many restaurants, live music and the beach and at the same time it feels like a lush oasis. Lots of beautiful palm trees and plenty of wildlife like iguanas and monkey visits in the mornings. Very quiet considering how close you are to everything.

Room cleanliness was very good, housekeeping efficient and always new towels. Breakfast was under par, very disappointing. We felt restaurant staff could’ve been more helpful and friendly, it would’ve boosted their sales. Pool often had lots of falling leaves, but was awesome. Enjoyed the location of this place, very convenient. Reception staff very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Overall a great place

i absolutely love this accommodation. Felt like we were at a resort. The room was small, but we did not need anything larger as we didn’t spend much time here. Walked out of our room into the pool area. We enjoyed having a restaurant and bar on site. It was within walking distance to everything. Night market just down the street. We even saw monkeys passed through a few times during our stay.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. The grounds were lush and full of trees and gardens and the kitchen suite was perfect for small family size with private patio. Loved it and would go back.

This is a boutique hotel with quaint clean rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is more expensive than other restaurants in town so didn’t eat there but in the morning they had delicious free coffee for guests.

It was a cute little place. Room wasn’t anything fancy but the hotel was close to all the action in Tamarindo. The staff were very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the full suite, with Kitchen and Sitting Area. The space is good, the bed was comfortable, but the Living Room furniture was not. It's an easy walk to shops and restaurants in town. Staff were all nice.

Hotel Pasatiempo is an oasis in Tamarindo! There is a lush garden throughout the property and you can see a variety of animals like monkeys, iguanas, raccoons, etc. It has air conditioned/ceiling fans, spacious and very clean cabanas with wonderful patios. The pool is has lots of seating around it and is a nice option from going to the beach. The beach is across the main road in Tamarindo and there are many restaurants and shops right there. The hotel has a bar and restaurant also. The staff is super friendly and accommodating! I love it there!! My one recommendation is to have a variety of pillows. 😁

Great little chill oasis in the midst of Tamarindo. Was great to sit next to pool in the evening and have live music with beach bar vibes. Rooms are very basic, but common area really nice and location could not be better.

A beautiful oasis close to all the action of Tam. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Rooms were extra clean, patio with hammock was heaven. Pool area was quiet but allowed for chats with other guests. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Loved our stay at this little oasis! So close to everything but once you step onto the property it feels like you’re miles away from everything! Seeing monkeys, squirrels , iguanas, different kinds of birds and of course , the two residents cats everyday was such a treat! We would definitely stay here again!! Pura Vida!!

An excellent facility, well kept and somehow, even though it's in the heart of Tamarindo seems like an oasis from the busy streets, shops and restaurants. Very friendly and accomodating staff.
