Great value

Property was value plus. The rooms were big and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The beds were a little bit hard for us. Breakfast was more than adequate and was included in the tarrif. The position was a little isolated but suited us. Plenty of restaurants nearby. An enjoyable stay.

Walking distance to beach but no access to beach chairs with no shade at beach. Resort nice pool and massage on site. There was issues with room requested one queen bed did not get got two twins instead did not say anything. My complaint about property was the manager the room was extremely hot and manager would not allow another key to improve this and stated she is saving the environment which I corrected this is not saving environment saving money only. I was not happy it was too warm in our room and being on upper floor made it worse and manger did not care. Also bothersome that manager hiding behind this lie of saving the environment talking to me like I’m a fool. Everything is money driven and just hope Thai employees get paid well there.

Herrliche Strandferien

Ruhiges Hotel an super schönem Strand. Sehr gutes Frühstück und sehr freundliches Personal. Etwas Abgelegen dafür sehr ruhig, aber man kann ja einen Roller mieten. Wir kommen wieder, hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Står att hotellet ska vara familjevänligt. Så är inte fallet enligt oss. Barnpoolen va 80cm djup vilket gjorde att vår 2åring ej vågade bada. Aningen djup för vår del. Hotellet är rent men slitet och omodernt och enligt oss inte särskilt barnvänligt/barnanpassat. Ingen destination för en barnfamilj. Personalen och servicen är däremot bra.

Fantastiskt för dig som söker lugn och ro

Hotellet är underbart för dig som bara vill ha lugn och ro. Här är det sol och bad som gäller. Runt hotellet ligger små restauranger med underbar thailändsk mat till riktigt bra priser. Vandra på stranden som är över en mil lång.

Har boet her flere gange, rigtig god service og god Belligenhed. Der ligger flere små restauranter i nærheden, med dejlig thai mad til en billig penge. Billig transfer bus til Kaolak Flere gange om dagen.

Rent og hyggelig hotell rett på stranden.

Rent hotell med fine rene rom. Passe størrelse på anlegget rett ved stranden. Maten på hotellet var ikke spesielt spennende, gå heller på Day & Night restaurant som ligger rett ved.

Khao Lak Orchid Beach Resort

If you want a quiet beachside resort this is perfect. If we didn’t have a hire car we would have felt quite isolated, however there are a few restaurants and a small convenience store next door to the hotel. Breakfast was very basic and we skipped it a number of days as we got bored of eating omelette. Rooms are huge, could do with a bit of modernisation but perfectly comfortable and very clean. The staff are what make this place, everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel for R&R restaurants and massage selection stone's throw. Only issues we had was it hot water randomly stopping and starting, air con in one of the bedrooms ran super cold regardless of setting and mosquitoes - all just small things, we still really enjoyed our stay!

Isolated, quite and perfect!

This resort was fantastic! The rooms are huge as is the bathroom with a separate tub. Out room overlooked the pool and the beach. As it was the low season it was very quite and it seemed like we had t he whole place to ourselves! The breakfast was basic, but I got the impression that during the peak season there would be more variety. The restaurant and bar overlooks the beach. There was two huge clean swimming pools and one with a swim up bar. They have a shuttle bus that runs a few times a day into Khao Lak town (about 20 mins drive) or to one of the local markets, and costs 100 baht for return trip or 50 baht one way, a taxi back will cost 300 baht. They also offer scooter or bicycle rental at a very cheap rate. There is a massage station next to the main pool and a 1hr massage cost 320 baht, as well as an onsite beauty spa. They can also organise day trips and airport transfers, although you might find this cheaper down the road. We really loved this resort and the isolated location, unfortunately the ocean here is quite rough with a steep drop off, so swimming would be at your own peril and not advised. There is also a few restaurants located near the resort. Hopefully I will be able to come back and stay again!

Off season stay = very quiet

Overall good stay. There was only a couple other people staying in the hotel during our visit in mid May so it felt kinda dead but that is the off season. The beach is beautiful. The resort looks beautiful as well. The shower was hot. Breakfast was as good as you can expect. I think it is funny they try to make a western breakfast but none of it is quite the same. Like the waffles and bacon are just a little off. But they try and it's not bad. The Thai part of breakfast was great. There are many restaurants within walking distance right next to the hotel and massage places. The hotel staff didn't speak great English but most places don't. They tried so hard though and were accommodating

Tolles Hotel für Leute die die Ruhe suchen. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Weitere sehr gute Restaurants neben dem Hotel. Viele Stammgäste und nette Angestellte. Perfekte Lage am Khuk Khak Beach Traumstrand. Direkt neben der Rezeption, Eike, die deutsche Reiseleitung, die echte Tipps zu den Touren gibt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!
