"It was very hard to find the entrance at the front of the hotel when you came out of the airport. Call and ask for directions before you get lost in the rain."
"Pros: Excellent location. The room was very small, but it was clean.
Cons: I accidentally left my universal travel adapter/ USB charging cable in the room when I checked out around 10:30 a.m. I realized this around 4 p.m. and returned to the hotel to ask about them. The room had already been cleaned, but no new guest was staying in it yet. Unfortunately, the staff told me they had not found the items, even though I clearly remembered where I had left them.
Overall, the location was excellent...
"Always a pleasure to return to Tahiti, and the InterContinental is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel has beautiful surroundings, stunning ocean views, and a fantastic atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the island.
The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and amazing views, especially at sunset. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

"Free shuttle from the airport. Staff was very pleasant. Family room was perfect for our needs and very roomy balcony was wonderful to watch sun rise. Only reason for 4 stars is that when we booked through Expedia, it said free breakfast included. When we arrived, we were told breakfast was extra. Host said she could bring fruit and juice instead. Perfect for a quick overnight layover."
