"Do not have any high expectations- this hotel property is very basic. There has not been one single improvement, enhancement or update since the property was built to any of the common areas the Carpet is thread bare and stained. The balcony exterior is all in terrible condition and the entire hotel requires painting, New carpet & complete updating. Upon entry to the hotel we were greeted by a very rude arrogant man - who seemed overwhelmed and very unpleasant. He had shocking demeanour and was...

"We had a wonderful stay at The Houses of History. It was a unique experience, for our family as the property has a lot of character. The pool was perfect for cooling off during the hot weather and our kids really enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. "The wellness section is closed until 9AM, which is disappointing. Other places open sauna, etc at 7AM to accommodate those who wish to swim or use sauna before breakfast. The faucet was running, woke me up. "

"Vi hade ett rum på baksidan. WiFi räckte inte dit. Utcheckning var senast 7 fast receptionen var inte bemannad förrän kl 9. Personal bar snäll och hjälpte oss att byta rum pga hund. Fanns ingen gratis parkering i närheten. Fick parkera 1km från hotellet."
