"Lovely last minute night away. Haven’t stayed here for a while and I think the rooms have been refurbished. Very nice. Only two issues. Very musty smell in the room which I think comes from no window ventilation. Loads of condensation running down the window after a shower and the air conditioning didn’t work when we got there. Assuming it’s on a timer but it was cold. But good stay."

Negatives - room had a number of maintenance issues - Wall mounted TV had to be switched off on plug behind the TV ?? TV remote also did not work. Toilet seat loose and moved about. Shower door was broken. Bedside light not safe. Breakfasts were OK, nothing to rave about. "

"Turned up at 14:35 after travelling a few hours to be told by receptionist that we couldn’t book in till15:00. She didn’t take our names to check if room was ready just to come back at 15:00 hrs. Not what we wanted to hear! Other than that the room was fine, breakfast good and breakfast staff very helpful."

Swansea hotels were busy due to an International rugby match and football game the following day Panicked as all hotels were fully booked except the Dragon Hotel which had one room (due to cancellation) at 3 times the price I pain £340 for 2 nights and Expedia had already taken from my account the £101.85 I would have paid for the...
