"First time in Dubrovnik, Hotel Vis made my stay SO EASY and comfortable!! The staff were so friendly and helpful, helping me get to and from the airport, and to and from downtown/Old City Dubrovnik. The hotel room and bathroom were the cleanest I've ever experienced, and the price was really reasonable. The hotel has direct access to the beach, easy walking to restaurants, and a bus stop across the street. Great for carless travel. Highly recommend Hotel Vis!!"

"I had a wonderful stay at La Vita e Bella in Dubrovnik’s Old Town. My room (Room 1 at La Vita e Bella IV) was recently renovated, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. It had a small espresso maker with pods, a teapot, a tiny safe, and even fresh fruit. The bed was so comfortable, with soft white robes, luxurious towels, and a beautiful bathroom featuring both a large tub and separate shower. "We booked late on same day we needed accomodations and we arrived to a clean room. Communication very good. The room is compact, but everything you need for a stay. It is up the hill from downtown but most everything is, it's the nature of the area. We are seniors and managed it fine."

"Only downside is bathroom has glass walls that you can pull drapes for privacy but sadly no ceiling. If you need privacy to do your business it might not be the best choice. Other than that it is a great space up several flights of stairs."
