"The breakfast was meh - restaurant and bar attached door was good. Rooms are very clean and staff are professional, friendly, and accommodating. Easy location."

"The price for this hotel does not reflect the services provided / lack of knowledge of the current employees. Communication was an issue. Supper was so terrible. Although it was nice to be offered a “to go” breakfast as our flight left very early, it was terrible. Bread was beyond dry, server in the patio lounge seemed like he was brand new as well as the gentleman checking people in. It seemed that they were on day 1 of work there. The room we were in had carpet that was not very clean looking....

"What an amazing stay! From the moment you arrive in cowichan bay to when you open your curtains to see the beautiful bay, your stay at cowichan bay suites will feel like you've teleported to a small fishing town filled with wild life and friendly people. The hotel is beautiful, cozy rooms with full kitchens. The hot tub and pool are a nice feature for after a day on the beach just steps from your patio doors. I will be making this a yearly get away!"

"Great staff and very helpful and as a little bonus they have a little fridge with free pops and water for your stay. The rooms were pretty clean. Nice little hot plate and kitchen in the suit. Beautiful ocean view from the patio and easy parking for our motorcycles. Felt safe, clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for the lovely accommodations."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

Limited reception time(which they disclosed) made us worry not to açcess the room is any delay happened. It was not the case but we didn't like the risk."

"The property was over priced for what it is , I had called the hotel to ask about adjusting dates due to a family emergency and the front desk person stated she would contact the manager and get back to me but I never heard anything and no mention at check in either ……. The hotel is okay but I would expect better at the rate they charge , they did however give a water bottle at check in but I’d preferred they keep the gift and charge appropriately………"

"Room wasn't actually clean, the pull out couch was nasty and when we went to complain to the staff about it they never actully ended up fixing the problem, even after we complained again the following day."
