The hotel was close to train station and ferry to islands. The staff were very accommodating. The balcony on the third floor had an amazing view of the lake. Short 15 minute pleasant walk to city center. A little noisy with traffic but we were visiting islands and marketplace and evening was quieter. Would definitely stay there again. Our server Abdul at dinner was so courteous and good with customers. Food good!

We stayed in the family room and it was very well set up for myself, my husband, and my two teens (who had a semi separate room and one bed each). Very much enjoyed our stay here and the hotel's buffet breakfast is excellent.

Good value as it is booked in mid april. Clean and quiet room. Spacious bathroom with all toiletries provided. Mattress a bit old, receptionist not the most friendly. Please note: garage incurred an overnight charge of 15Eurp.

We had a lovely time staying here for two nights. Well appointed rooms. Paying for the view was worthwhile. Breakfast was great. The weather was a bit too chilly to use the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel is nice enough and clean with good lake views and just a quick walk to the water. It is further away from the station, boats and most shops but the panoramic walk between is very nice. I booked this hotel specifically partly due to the mentioned airport shuttle for a surcharge listed on expedia which does not exist. They offered to call a taxi for €180 which is hardly a "surcharge". Also I was frustrated by the lack of coffee or kettle in room; there was a breakfast available but hours were short so coffee wasn't available before my train. As long as you're ok w the above, good place to stay for the price just didn't have what I was expecting.

Location is OK as long as you are prepared to walk about 1 KM each way to the center for a restaurant. Breakfast was OK but the waiters will not fill up the buffet unless you remind them to do so. AC didn’t work on the first day and barely worked after it was “fixed” We are at the end of a month long vacation in Italy and honestly, this was the worst hotel we stayed in so far. No, I will not recommend the Della Torre hotel in Stresa to my friends.

Hotel Della torre was a pretty good spot. Semi ish far from downtown but I think all the hotels are. Good showers with good pressure. There was always hot water available. Wasn’t allowed to change to room temperature and it was kind of humid in the rooms. Balcony was a nice reprieve and allowed for some air flow. Took off a star cause we chose this hotel due to the hotel.com advertisement of airport shuttles and the hotel did not have airport shuttles.

The hotel in general was nice and convenient to get around Stresa. It has a ferry at just one block of distance. The downside of the place was that the AC wasn’t working in any room in September. To me it was too hot. They have a fan that you can borrow if you’re lucky, because it’s only one fan for all guests. The breakfast was good and the room was good.

Prima hotel. Ligt 10 minuutjes lopen van de boot naar de Borromeïsche eilanden en 20 minuten lopen van het centrum. Heerlijk zwembad met bubbelbad en poolbar. Goed ontbijt, wel vroeg gaan, anders veel lege schalen. Parkeren kan tegen betaling bij het hotel. Dus van alle gemakken voorzien. Kamers zijn wel eenvoudig, maar voldoen. Klein balkonnetje, airco, mini koelkastje.

Nous avions réservé une chambre double pour deux nuits au tarif de 180 euros la nuit. Nous étions dans une chambre située au premier étage (la 101 précisément) dans laquelle nous ressentions des odeurs d’égouts et où nous entendions nos voisins de chambre comme s’ils étaient dans la nôtre. C’est bien dommage car le personnel est adorable et l’hôtel très bien situé. Nous ne faisons pas partie des clients exigeants et c’est la première fois que nous rédigions un avis comme celui-ci.
