You also could not ask for a more centrally located apartment in Fort Augustus, with all its amenities on your doorstep. However I have dropped a star as we were not provided with the door access code or room, as promised, on the day of our arrival. In fact we never received this information at all! "the staff was lovely, the place was spotless, great continental breakfast included and access to kitchenette and complementary tea, coffee was so convenient. Room was a bit small but had a comfortable bed. the washroom was quite large and had nice warm towels. The launch area and the amenities more than compensated for it."

"We generally stay at premium hotels but tried this place based on reviews. Drove for 2 hours from EDI to this property. The owner/manager greeted us and asked about dinner plans. Very kind person who guided us about next morning’s breakfast. Being vegetarian, they prepared exhaustive menu based on our dietary preference. Very good hospitality and also imparted valuable information about silver sands beach and ferry to Isle of Sky. Overall an excellent experience!!"

"I had some difficulty finding the apartment as it doesn’t look like the pictures. We tried contacting the owner but only got voicemail. We were lucky to stop and ask a gentleman who happened to know the owner. The apartment is lovely."
