Very warm welcome from Chris who had called us a few hours prior to arrival to establish if we would require a table for the evening as it was pretty busy he didn’t want us to miss out. First class service I thought.
Great hotel, food and drinks on offer were really good at fair prices too.
We used this hotel as a base for a visit to the Dalwhinnie Distillery a few miles up the road.
Hotel was excellant especially as they were still trading under tougher than necesary covid regulations.
Dinner and breakfast were delicious
Very good real ale on tap in Scotland was a bonus
Ideal location with superb views. Staff were friendly and helpful - food excellent! Lovely choice of beers and whiskies for the weary traveller. Will definitely look to stay again. Thanks to all!
Stayed 1 night in the hotel and was very satisfied with every aspect. The staff have done an excellent job of managing to welcome every guest and provide a service which is as close to normal as you might expect in the middle of COVID.
Very comfortable and clean. Staff did well under difficult conditions (pandemic) but service for evening meals was slow and erratic; the food was quite good - my lamb shank was well cooked but pathetically small and the following day's venison casserole was tasty but could have done with more meat. Breakfasts were excellent with faultless service.
