"Rooms, lodges and restaurants outstanding. Food was wonderful. Our server at the Barton Grill was brilliant! This is a 5 star property and overall lived up to that. We had an issue with vouchers that were purchased for us as a gift. One staff at the golf course was somewhat...aloft...ok, curt but rest of staff and hotel staff were great. I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste."

"The food in the restaurant/bar was very good, and the staff excellent, but quite expensive. We had two non-conjoining rooms; both rooms had a small round coffee table, but only one desk chair for three people to use. The staff did not offer to find us chairs from other, unoccupied rooms, nor did they offer to relocate us to a room that was complete with proper accommodations for six adults sharing two rooms."

"Rooms are very dated and need an update. Bathroom shower has low power. Shuttle bus was late and overcrowded. Would not stay here again."

"My daughter wanted to stay in a castle but the prices didn't match our budget. I found this hotel and it was the best for both of us. The hotel is beautiful and the beds are soft and comfortable. Only downside, which would have made me reconsider staying there, is that it is a 20 minute taxi ride from city center. As much as I enjoyed the hotel, for the quick time I had in Dublin, I would have preferred to be closer."

"Overall a good stay at the hotel, thank you to the hotel staff. Convenient location, near to Liffey Valley shopping centre, easy access to restaurants outside. Also good bus access to Dublin City. Swimming pool was a bit busy on Friday evening (we had kids so had to swim in the busy time). Good spread of breakfast. Would certainly stay there again!"

"Very nice hotel, convenient stay for the night before our flight out of Dublin airport. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only small issue is the parking. We picked the hotel due to the onsite parking availability, but the spaces are very limited. We had to camp out and wait for someone to leave to snag a spot. So if you’re booking this because of parking convenience, I wouldn’t place a bet on finding a space."
