"This was a wonderful mix of vacation resort and authentic local vibes. We really enjoyed the hotel, the customer service was excellent the food was amazing including the buffet! I have food restrictions and never felt like I couldn't order something at the restaurants. The beach was a 10, soft sand and fun surf/boogie waves. The ONLY challenge I had was with the beds- they were VERY firm, pillows were soft the rooms were mildly musty. Overall we would love to go back!"

Shopping areas surrounding the hotel are very vast from local venders to big name shops, you can always take a taxi to the shopping centre near the Marina or down to the centre of Mazatlan where you will also find a indoor market!!"

"Royal Villas is an older hotel. The pool is small but nice. The staff at the hotel are very good and friendly. The beds are good. The elevators are fast and reliable. The maintenance people are quick on making repairs. The TV in our room only had 2 stations that were in English."
