"A glorious stay in room 412 which for us (couple and 4y/o on a sofa bed) was absolutely perfect. Double balcony with the most wonderful views, well proportioned room with everything we could need and a very nice touch of a complimentary welcome Salcombe Gin & Tonic in our room! Parking was convenient with the porter parking for us and was handled quickly and efficiently. The pool facilities were beautifully clean and tranquil and enjoyed especially by our daughter on the child permitted hours. Food and drink great too and friendly restaurant staff - would highly reccomend this hotel. "

"We had stayed here before and were disappointed earlier this year, when we were informed that the hotel was permanently closed. We were therefore delighted when we received an email from Richardson Hotels, offering accommodation there again. We booked a week in early July and weren't disappointed. Yes, the fabric of the hotel needs some attention but our room was clean and comfortable and benefitted from a bay window with a sea view. The staff were friendly, accommodating and very hard-working always with a smile on their faces. We would certainly stay here again in the future."

"Good hotel whose dated appearance masks the facilities and staff helpfulness. Our room (18) was spacious and well equipped. My only complaint was no table at "my" side of the bed yet had the single and double been moved to the left one could have fitted. It makes a nice change to order the cooked breakfast and have it brought to our table."
