The room was nice however I would say the food is good but overpriced and the bar prices are extremely expensive for a rural bed-and-breakfast, almost 8 pounds for a pint of lager seems excessive. £14 for a full English breakfast with one egg, one rasher of bacon, and one sausage But overall, a nice location and a nice little hotel"

"Breakfast wasn’t the best tbh Room decor lovely but floor a bit tired and no shelf by sink or shower to put anything on Staff were great apart from cleaners very noisy and banging and bashing and hovering before 0800! Bar guy was on his phone and took a few minutes to come and serve me ! Other than what I’ve mentioned I would recommend as overall was good "

"Really convenient for flights, being within the terminal and access to choice of restaurants etc. we booked a vip room which was a decent size,and had a fab view over the runway to watch the planes. No comfortable seating, though. Everything was clean, smart and efficient if somewhat soulless, as to be expected. Would recommend if overnight for flights is required. "

"Beautiful old hotel near Gatwick (10-15 min by taxi, 23 GBP). We were upgraded to the Jane Seymour room which had a lovely back balcony over looking the pond and fountain. Beautiful grounds, you can see why it's so popular for weddings! The lounge areas and bar could be updated but were very cozy. There were many tables having afternoon tea when we arrived. We had drinks and informal dinner (good fish & chips) in the lounge and were very happy. A great place to stay if flying to or from Gatwick!...

"The room was as described, a bit like a motel arrangement, with rooms on the ground floor based around the courtyard area. Bathroom had a huge walk in shower, the water pressure was brilliant and soaps etc were lovely. Bed was comfy, ironing board, hairdryer and great coffee, tea and cookies. It was clean, spacious and comfy. Where we were disappointed was in the welcome - no information on eating, checking out or even pleasantries. "Kitchen closed at 8pm as it was too busy witch I was not happy and then to be told by the Barr staff go to WH Smith and buy your self a meal deal but they were closed as well so all in all it was terrible customer service 😖"
