"Room was amazing, very clean and spacious and very comfortable. The staff were all polite and helpful but Adam looked after us really well. Despite being run off his feet, he always had time for us and ensured we had everything we wanted. It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay. "

"This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. The rooms were warm and clean, and had been newly decorated, the bedding was clean and crisp. The breakfast was adequate, all self serve, tea, coffee, juices, cereals, packet meats and pastries. The downsides - we had to call a mobile number (taped to the door) on arrival for the door to be opened by, I'm assuming to be a live-in caretaker, he showed us to the breakfast area and to our rooms, but we never saw him (or any other staff) again. The general decor of the communal areas is (I hope), a work in progress. The double glazed window in one room had one layer cracked and displaced its whole length. Would we stay again? Yes, at the low price and for 1 night. "

"We stopped for 1 night. The rooms were absolutely spotless, had everything you needed for a B&B. We were able to check in sooner than 3pm. the food was lovely. Great location, there was a hotel with a bar within about a 15 min walk. The couple who own it were really friendly. Weve already booked up to go back in june."
