"The place was not open when I tried to get in all doors were locked, the receptionist didn't have my booking details. There was a set of building steps at the door that I needed access to get into my room. The room stank of paint and the pictures in the advertisement was not the same as the room that I was given. The phone number that was advertised on the entrance did not exist. The place was a horrible tip thats why I lefr after an hour."

The attention to detail is second to none throughout the whole property. The place is sparkling and spotless. Absolute pleasure to spend time there, relax and unwind. "What a lovely room. A bed you could sink into, even though my husband prefers a firmer bed I thought it was great. Loved the Character of the place so much history. Menu looked good but unfortunately we weren’t there to eat an evening meal. Ooh! but having stayed in many hotels this had the best and most perfectly cooked English Breakfast I have ever had. Even better than mine and that’s saying something. Staff were very friendly and I would be very happy to recommend anyone to stay here."
