"The hotel is fine for an overnight stay. The rooms are tired and need a refresh. There were lipstick marks on the walls I'm my room and the bathroom sink was very worn and scratched. The bathroom is also very cramped. For the price I expected more. Breakfast was lovely."

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "Everything was great! The room was as soundproof as could be everything was clean, the room temp was brilliant, considering we were in a heat wave the room was a cool 19 °. If I had to gripe about anything it would be that there wasn't any hash browns on the breakfast bar for 2 days. The staff do go beyond what's expected of them"

"Lovely 2 night stay. Super Comfy bed which is a plus for those with a bad back or hip..slept so well. Spacious room even though we booked the smallest category. Wonderful rain shower. L'Occitane branded hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Quiet air con so was able to keep on all night without it being noisy. Window opens ever so slightly so lovely breeze comes in. We were there when the weather was +30 degrees celcuis. Great views of the Gorge and Clifton Bridge from the bar /pub...

"The room was roomy and comfy, but there were some dusty spots on the surfaces in both the bedroom and bathroom. The cleaning staff could definitely use some more care . I was a little startled to find something curly and hairy on the bathroom counter when I checked in , but it turned out to be just an old eyelash. Additionally, the bath towels were old and stiff. On the positive side, breakfast was very good, with plenty of hot and cold, sweet and savory options to suit everyone’s preferences."

"Room size was ok, but really basic, no safe in the room. Bathroom was a poor lit pod. No fan. Air is not AC, just a cooling system that leaked in the middle of the night so water drops will keep you wake. Good location close to station, friendly staff, but would not stay here again."

"Excellent location for Clifton village with bus stop right outside the hotel making easy access to Bristol town centre/station. Spacious room, spotlessly clean though main building is a little tired around the edges. Friendly approachable staff. Breakfast was good, but some of the buffet options did run out. Great value for money and happy to recommend."
