"The room was beautiful and really well appointed but there was an event hosted in the hotel until 4am and it was very loud so we couldn’t sleep. Staff seemed very overstretched so it was hard to find anyone to check-in/checkout or help with queries. "An awful experience- we called ahead to say we would be checking in late and the receptionist confirmed that would be okay as the Night Porter would check us in on arrival. However, we arrived and waited outside the gate for 40 minutes for the night porter who never answered the bell. We called the phoneline countless times and no answer. It was 11pm and very cold. No offer of a refund and the hotel didn’t return our voicemails. Poor customer service and we would like our money back. "
