The property was beautiful but we did not have a good experience. There were wrappers in the hallway on the 4th floor and it looked dirty. That evening an employee opened and came all the way into our room with his key card and it freaked us out, we never found out why that happened. He just ran out the door without saying anything.
The next day, the fire alarms went off multiple times and we had to go down to street level and hang out in the lobby area for 45 minutes until the firefighters declared it a false alarm. We wanted to go to the bar and get some drinks, there was nobody at the hostess station so we sat down until the bartender very rudely told us we had to wait to be seated. I asked about going to the museum and I was told that it was closed due to a private event. I asked if I could go the next morning and the front desk employee told me I could go very early because they had another event the next day too. I asked if 6am would be alright and they said yes. I woke up specifically to go see the museum and the main gallery had already been closed for the event.
We were also told the pool opened at 5am but my husband went down at 5:15am and it was closed.
The hotel is nice but it just feels like it has some pretty big management issues.
The room was nice though and the girl who did the valet parking (a young woman wearing knee braces both times we saw her) was very friendly and efficient! Coffee at the cafe spot was great as well.
