The good things were the bedroom was big and roomy and staff were friendly and helpful. The reception is up a flight of stairs and no lift for luggage in fact no lift at all working in building. The bedroom had lots of plus points, storage, large comfy bed but net curtains were marked and hole in main curtain. There was a safe in the room but we were advised it should have been removed as they were no longer working. The breakfast was adequate but just that, staff did get non dairy milk for me which was good. Its difficult to really rate the hotel there were some good thing about it but really needed some attention to detail for others.

Our room was mostly clean but we had a couple of major safety issues - firstly when we first went into the bathroom there was a large rusty screw loose on the bathroom floor. We then found 2 shards of glass in the carpet, which we are not impressed with. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a shame about the poor standard of housekeeping.

Comfortable functional room, friendly, helpful staff, parking can be a bit difficult, especially as there was an event on the Western Lawns all weekend, but with perseverance parking can be found and is very cheap, £2.35 for 24 hours when purchased at the hotel. Overall, a relaxing stay.

Great stay in a lovely room with warm welcome.

We were welcomed warmly to the hotel.Our room was huge and looked directly onto the beach. There was a choice of bath and shower or level access shower. All the staff we met were friendly and the reception area has been refurbished since our last stay with a new breakfast room and bar. The room was clean with good heavy curtains.

The family room was extremely large and ideal for our 2 night trip. Best Western's budget option but clean, very comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. A pool table provided entertainment.
