"Really enjoyed my stay here - bear in mind that it’s an old establishment so don’t expect modern decor in the bedrooms. It’s traditional. But it’s clean, functional, well equipped, well located, friendly service and staff, and the food is excellent. I would stay again. Thanks everyone who made me feel welcome x"

"Lovely property. No sea view from ground floor rooms (gardens overgrown). Well equipped kitchen but missing items (no dinner size plates / only 2 mugs / only 2 teaspoons / odd number of glasses). Wardrobe hanging useable (6 feet tall)."

"Beautiful hotel, wonderful position and stunning views of the bay. I was a bit dubious about the valet parking, but it worked well (and I wouldn't have wanted to fit my car into the car park!). All the staff were helpful and friendly and my single room was well equipped and comfortable. Having a massage in the hotel spa before we left on our last day was the icing on the cake. Big thank you to everyone at the Harbour Hotel and Spa."

"The property is very charming, clean & as pictured. We stayed for an entire week, and the location is perfect to tour the Cornwall peninsula. The owners, Mark & Fenella, are wonderful hosts! The breakfast is amazing every morning with a table spread with beautiful breads & pastries, fruit, yogurt & granola, juices & smoothies as well as an incredible à la carte menu that Mark cooks when you arrive for breakfast! The couple are so delightful and make you feel at home right away! Loved our stay and would definitely return!"

The St Ives Bay Hotel

"The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind and we ended up being able to park in the hotel parking lot, which was a nice surprise. The room definitely needed to be updated and didn’t match the photos (we had a huge shag carpet in our room over the original rug which was clearly used to cover a big stain but honestly really kind of gross). I wouldn’t say our room was all that clean but the bedding was spotless and the bed itself was comfortable. Location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard (coffee was bad). Again, can’t state enough how friendly and helpful the staff were."

"This is a gem. We are high end travellers and this is probably the best service we have ever experienced. The staff were very attentive and obviously take great pride in their work and the property. The food quality was excellent and consequently we ate there most nights."

"We received a very warm welcome from the host. The room was very clean, spacious and with falbous Seaview. The breakfast was good and fresh. The host provided very useful tips in visiting and duning in Cornwall. Definitely we will revisit Cornwall and stay in Green Apple B&B."
