It’s one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. It reminds us the colonial era yet the facilities are modern. The staff are friendly and always available to help. There are lots of food choices within a 5-10 walk from the hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

The shower in my room was broken, the safe didn’t work, the refrigerator didn’t work, the lotion dispenser was empty. 33 floor building, 3 lifts, one of which was broken, and the staff use the guest lifts as well. On my third night the battery in my door gave out so I couldn’t get in my room-which meant two trips to the lobby from one of the top floors, at close to 11 pm. Once the door was fixed, for reasons I still don’t understand, a random staff person showed up and rang the door at 11:30 pm. I don’t know what language he spoke-it wasn’t Malay, Thai, Chinese, English or French. After trying all those I gave up and made him leave.
On a more positive note the bed was comfortable. But the hotel overall needs attention to the basics, maintenance is shockingly bad.
