"This was a last minute purchase for me, and did not disappoint. The woman and the check in desk was informative, friendly and helpful from the minute we said hello - I felt comfortable, safe and seen. The room was comfortable, and had temperature controls that worked extraordinarily well. The bed was so good that I fell asleep trying it out - yes, I stopped because I was tired. It was quiet, which paired well with my visit to the museum. Check out was online and a breeze. I definitely recommend...

"It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. "
