"Beautiful view of the valley below. Loved the 'infinity pool' after our long drive in. We did notice a very stong odor when exiting the elevator on our floor. Not sure if it was some kind of cleaning product or if some child had an accident in the hallway but both myself and my companion found the odor very unpleasant. "We stayed at this hotel for a night since we were traveling from Venice to Milan but wanted to visit Verona. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) had a very pleasant experience at the hotel. The villa is in the Italian countryside surrounded by their property vineyards and vegetable gardens. "The hotel is very well situated, about a 10 minute walk from Verona. We managed to disembark a flight, get to the hotel, walk into Verona and be seated for a performance of Aida within an hour! The room was spacious and cool with standard facilities. It looks like it was very grand at one point (lots and lots of beautiful marble) but other aspects are very tired. "The hotel is in a fanstastic location. The decor throughout is of a high standard. All the staff were extemely friendly and helpful. The room was very nice with a huge bathroom. The only downside for us was the small shower cubicle. For such a large bathroom it would be nicer to have more space to be able to move around easily within the shower. Apart from that one thing everything else was very good."
