If it's your first time travelling during COVID-19, you'll notice a few more restrictions and rules in place. Follow these tips and make your journey to Southwest Georgia go off without a hitch:

• Investigate if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before committing to a flight. Also check if there are any requirements you'll need to follow on arrival, such as mandatory quarantining.
• When you go through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be required to lower it briefly for identification purposes. Passengers who refuse to wear a mask may be denied entry or boarding.

• TSA is now permitting passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on bags. This will have to be removed from your bag at the X-ray machine for screening.
• To reduce handling during screening, place personal items such as your phone, coins and keys into your carry-on instead of into the bins.
• Transport all food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA agent will need to touch and open your bag for inspection.
