"We really enjoyed our stay here. The only downside was the condition of the tennis courts. We specifically looked for a hotel with a tennis court and the photos on the website looked great. Unfortunately the courts seem to have been neglected. Only one had a net and the surface was really not safe to play on. I think the misleading photos need removing from the website, or the courts need attention. Other than that we had a great stay. The gym and pool areas are great."

"Hotel is located near the harbour and all the shops. It has a nice restaurant with outdoor seating but be mindful of seagulls if eating outside. I booked a classic room. It was small and and a bit hot with the current weather."

"Delightful cabin stay. Easy booking. Clear communication including a very detailed instruction given our late check-in (nice additional touch leaving a lamp on in the cabin to help our arrival). Excellent fit and finish throughout including the separate toilet and shower block. Convenient Spar opposite and a lovely walk to Par beach via the local coffee shop. Had the opportunity to meet the owner on check-out who was also lovely. Highly recommended"

"We were most concerned about the design of the cups supplied. They had large diameter tops but very small bases. This meant that when full with a hot drink they tended to spill over the top onto your hand, if carried. Mugs with parallel sides would be better and much safer."

"Lovely historic hotel in Lovely Fowey. The only let down is the resaurannt. There are good restaurants in nearby. ( shhhhh, try the fabulas Narla in Fore Street)"
