"Starting the morning of arrival, Carla communicated all of the check-in details via email and text (super helpful) and was on-hand for any queries which was great when it came to parking. There is a Spar directly opposite and a Co-op at the bottom of the road in case you needed anything.
Accommodation itself and facilities were exactly as described- very clean, spacious and relaxing, with a super comfortable bed.
Extremely central location perfect for access to the train station, 8 minute drive to the Eden Project and about 5 minutes to the beach.
Great set-up and would highly recommend!"
"Bonnie on the front desk was outstanding. Beautiful hotel exceptional friendly staff . Breakfast was really good . Could not fault the place . ( they even had water guns to get rid of the seagulls our favourite personal touch)."
"Fantastic hotel. Felt like royalty with wooden doors and staircase were gorgeous
The grounds are lovely and well cared for and we met the tortoises!
The only thing that let it down was the lack of air conditioning in this really hot weather"
"Breakfast was money well spent.
Unfortunately, booking my evening meal was impossible, tried booking a reservation but my only options were up to 18:30 or after 21:45.
Being a hotel resident didn't guarantee me a table, because it's not exclusive."
"Lovely historic hotel in Lovely Fowey.
The only let down is the resaurannt. There are good restaurants in nearby. ( shhhhh, try the fabulas Narla in Fore Street)"
"It states that breakfast is "free / included" in the price, this wasn't the case. The price per person for breakfast was £14 pp.
Staff were brilliant & honoured our booking, so fair play to them.
Everything else was fantastic 🙌"
"Beautiful old world building with lovely rooms, bar the bathroom being upstairs.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food was good especially the breakfast.
Very disappointed that they had a special curry and pint offer where you couldn't have and alternative drink and when we ordered the curry anyway we were charged £20 without the beer wheras it was £15 with the beer!"
