"We chose The Market Tavern because of it's location - it is in the same village where our son, daughter-in-law and new grandson live and we were visiting.
The whole property has been tastefully renovated and is lovely. We had eaten in the pub before but not stayed.
Bampton is a quaint village with plenty of amenities and is well placed for visiting lots of interesting places.
Breakfast was good with cold and cooked choices. Staff were friendly and attentive.

"I had a wonderful experience considering there was a 3 day music festival right outside the Inn. I had a slight issue with parking and luggage but the whole experience had been wonderful. The Hotel Manager upgraded my room."
"We had a wonderful stay here. A very nice room, with walkable location and a marvelous breakfast too! The only demerit is the bed which was sagging quite a bit and needs to be replaced. Otherwise, it was a delightful stay for our family of 3."
