I reserved a one bedroom suite with a king bed. When we arrived and enter the room the bed was a double/queen when I went to front desk the employee told me that their wasn’t any other room. And that when I made the reservation they changed it to a queen bed without notifying me. But I was charged as if I had a king bed and no credit was received. I should receive a credit for this.

The room was clean. We had an issue with the AC so it was warm and struggled to get it to kick on. Once we got it to work it was comfortable but seemed to revert back in the middle of the night and was warm again. We did ask the front desk and when no one came up we messed with to get the air working. We did update them that it was somewhat working and should have it looked at before the next person.

I booked through Expedia, and chose this location because they had a pool and hot tub. To my surprise there isn’t a pool or hot tub. The clerk said it was turned into a game room. I also booked a king bed and got what seemed to be a full size bed. I was very disappointed, I came from out of state for a few days, to attend a cubs game.

The front desk staff tried to be helpful but this was the worse experience my family has ever encountered with all our years of travelling. My family and I arrived at the hotel at about 10:45-11:00PM on the night of 6/12 only to be told at the front desk that the hotel was sold out and our room had been given out and there was no room for us. It felt like a prank except it wasn't. We spent the night calling one hotel after another and nothing was available up to an hour travelling distance away from South Bend. This was a disastrous night because my daughter had to get sleep so she could go for an important event at the Notre Dame University the following morning on which her admission to the university was critical. We spent a majority of the night, homelessly traveling in our rental vehicle through the night. I am still in shock from the event. The staff were very apologetic and really tried hard to help us find another accommodation for the night and to that fact I am very grateful. The actions of the staff, Emily in particular was very refreshing and restored my faith in mankind.

The room was spacious for our family of 5. Being able to cook in the kitchen was great. We did bring some of our own pots and pans but they had every basic kitchen equipment you would need. The breakfast wasn't great but there are plenty of places near the hotel to grab a quick breakfast if you don't want to cook in the room.

On the weekend although the breakfast was good, we really wish there had been eggs in addition to waffles, sausage and biscuits and gravy - it was hard to build something healthy. Cut up fruit would be nice too. The food was good though. Only other complaint was a lot of marijuana smells and some may have been from front desk staff at night. That is something we do not like and makes us feel like it isn’t the property for us. We did love the room layout. Maybe we will try it again if the price is right.

Breakfast was Eehh room needs repairs

Wasn't given room I had booked. The room condition was not the greatest. Breakfast is just basic hotel breakfast no eggs no bacon no sausage only thing hot was oatmeal and it looked like soup. One of our vehicles was broken into luckily there wasn't anything of value to take. Area isn't very safe and kind of sketchy. For the price I paid and the break in I def wouldn't stay here again. Patched up holes, window pull was broke, door looked like it had been broke in before. Drain in one bathroom didn't work for use of bathtub, huge gap in bedroom door. Out of about 6 washers and 3 dryers only 3 was working order.

I'd actually gives this hotel a 4.8 out of 5 stars: details provided below. Everything about our stay was super great, except the bed was not as comfortable as it should have been. A bit lumpy and sloped to the sides: generic brand mattress, so that was a disappointment. The 4 biggest things I look for when booking a hotel room, (especially for multiple nights after my late night work as a out-of-town DJ), is the room must be immaculately clean, quiet, no bugs (over the years, bed bugs are heard to be a problem from some hotels these days, based on hotel reviews from other brand chains), and a comfortable non-lumpy mattress. Our hotel room was very clean, very fresh, well-kept and very quiet. As an added plus, to my surprise, all the towels were very soft (not scratchy and hard like most hotels). Loved that, thank you! I, especially loved the bath tub, (since I do not have one at home), so it really helped to have one in my room, to relax to after a night of DJing outdoors in cold Spring nights. Different styles of pillows are available to your liking, too, again an added plus. Loved the larger than usual fridge, stove, and silverware to be able to cook. The little fridges that most hotels offer are never enough size for me to have, since I bring my own food, and plenty of different drinks (water bottles, milk, juice, etc.). The staff is friendly and very helpful, as well. Thanks for a great stay! I recommend this hotel, no problem.
