"The best view hotel in Solothurn. Suites room has the best view of Cathedral, old town and river. Same amazing view as the top floor bar, but the bar closed during summer. Parking is free outdoor in front of the hotel but limited spots. Close to the old town just walk across the bridge. I stayed on Swiss National day and could see fireworks from our room. Lounge doesn’t have much to eat or drink and has no view, we went there and got nothing as minibar in room has plenty and included in the room...

"Amazing experience. Only stayed for one night, but was seriously looking for ways to extend just because it was such an awesome place. Love how they managed to renovate the place so that it acts as a living museum and a very comfortable stay. The restaurants was great and the staff was super friendly as well. Da die Zimmer ohne TV sind, wurde kurzerhand für alle EM Frauenfussball intressierten Gäste eine Grossleinwand aufgestellt. "Wow! A whole, big apartment with all amenities, for less than the cost of hotels. Great interiors, high quality modernized. The bed was perfect, immaculate, with a just right, high quality foam mattress and wonderful fluffy blankets. Cooking was all modern, with all kitchenwares provided. Private key provided through website. Caution though- no front desk or attendant on-site. We were only notified of this hours before arriving."
