"The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is central. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The only inconvenience was the stairs to the hotel. There was no direct elevator to the room, so carrying a suitcase or luggage needed extra work."

"Amazing staff and very understanding and accommodating. Glad to have stayed here. We enjoyed their breakfast daily. They answered any questions we had and pointed us in the right direction. The one thing I did not like is the two story studio we stayed in. Bathroom on first floor and bedroom on top so I had to go up and down so many damn times. Imagine waking up middle of the night to go the bathroom... Having to go down the narrow tiny steps? One wrong move and you end up in an Italian...

"Luigi is the most incredible. My stay from A-Z was perfect. I have traveled a fair bit and have never been so well looked after. Every morning he would send me a message asking if i need help with anything. I give 10 stars!!"

"Pina was very helpful and resourceful. She made us all feel very welcomed. She was very friendly and very attentive to our needs. Breakfast each morning was wonderful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Only improvement would be to upgrade the room air conditioning, as it did not seems to adequately cool the room ( but was very hot outside during our stay), and start breakfast at 7 or 7:30am ( in order to meet ferry rides and transportation schedules for 8am ). Otherwise, Overall excellent...

"Great to have access to beach and lovely pool. Beautiful views from restaurant and site. All staff helpful and friendly. Bus from site ran every half hour including the afternoons which was useful in the August heat. Trips booked from site were fabulous. Compact accommodation as expected! Managed though with two teenagers in tow. "

"The place was very easy to find and conveniently located near the train station. We had a small wait for check in as you can either let them know what time you are arriving or call them at the apartment and they will come to check you in. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and absolutely ideal for a getaway with friends. There is a small kitchenette, and housekeeping refreshed our waters and coffee daily. There is enough kitchen equipment to make dinner - which we did twice during our stay....

"The staff and manager were terrific and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding, especially being greeted by Tony, who always puts a smile on people's faces. The best part was the transportation. Thank you for a fantastic stay and for allowing us to move to a bigger room!!!!! I have always recommended people to your hotel! But the older rooms should be updated, at least by changing the old bedcovers and the colors. The upgraded room on the other side of the building felt more lively and cheery since the walls were white and the bedspread was beige. The lower room, which smelled old and had dark and gloomy colors, was small and smelled old. Making a few changes would be a benefit for your hotel. Also, change the flags outside the building. "

"This was our second time at Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto. We were quite happy with our stay. Perfect location, very close to dining, shopping and the Port in order to take excursions to Capri, etc. We picked this location for this purpose and we were not disappointed. Staff was lovely. "

"My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Property is very clean and well maintained. Both the pool and “beach” are lovely. Lunch/Dinner in all restaurants on site were delicious. Very walkable to town. I used the gym daily and it was quite large and very clean. Con: I got a massage and it was 5/10. Not blaming hotel as it is a 3rd party vendor."

"The property and staff were amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful prior to arrival and during our stay. I would highly recommend the hotel based on quality of staff alone - Antonio is awesome. Throw in the fact that it was a close walk to everything makes the hotel 5 stars. "
