"The corners of the bathroom grout were not the best. Lots a nice towels. Small tv. Great internet. Nice little refrigerator with small freezer for our freezer blocks. Good coffee in the room. Be ready for stairs to the cabin. We stopped at a Kroger about 20 minutes away and brought in a rotisserie chicken and salad. The restaurant is closed."

"AVOID this property for SO many reasons. AVOID IT! Staff will offer that, "This is an old property." in lieu of an apology or other accommodations. Outlets in our room were so worn out that we could not keep anything plugged in. (Not kidding.) Headboard was detached from wall. Bedside tables/shelves were so broken down/slanted that items would slide off onto floor. Supports from bed jutted out presenting a trip hazard. TV was completely disconnected upon check-in. Random nail/screw holes in the wall in the bathroom. Fitted sheet on bed was way too small and kept detaching through the night. The sounds of street racing on Hwy 27 was only drowned out by ambulances going to the nearby hospital. Staff apathetic to downright hostile. Checked out one night early after the disaster of a first night and was offered not so much as a half-hearted apology and defiantly told that a refund of the unused night would be denied. I assure you we did not go in expecting a 2+ star experience, but were truly disappointed at the negative star experience this location offers. Seriously... avoid this place."

"This was the filthist hotel I've been in. They made me sign a paper forcing me to pay any chargers before they would show me the room. Room 222 nasty torn carpet dingy overall, the bedding, the drapes, the carpet were totally unacceptable. There was a stench in the hotel & it was worse in the room. If an asthmatic would have to sleep in this room, they would have an ashma attach. I only saw 2 employees. One girl at the desk & another who took me to the room. They neither were pleasant because I was asking questions. Both appeared to me to be unkept. There was also a group of people gathered outside in front of the hotel. Very loud smoking & language? I told the girl who escorted me up the elevator & to the room that there was no way we could take the room. The girl at the desk said, you know they are going to make you pay anyway! I booked the room through Expedia. EXPEDIA pur pressure on me to buy Assistance & Insurance through General Global. I bought it because the communication threatened to know that something was going to go the wrong way and I would need this policy to help me get out of a problem. Well, I better not get billed for anything! What a mess! We hadn't where to stay. It was 9:45 pm. To sleep in the car was the only thing to do! TERRIBLE PEOPLE & TERRIBLE COMPANIES. WE ARE IN OUR 80's. Expedia is TERRIBLE!"
