"We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. We were attending the New Wine festival at Shepton Mallet so needed somewhere to sleep! We didn't use many of the facilities as we literally got up & left for the day but there were plenty of facilities available! We slept like babies in the comfy bed!
Lesley was a very helpful hostess & communicated often. She's even posting me back an item of clothing we left behind! The accommodation was comfortable, there was parking available too! We would highly recommend...

"We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. The wood fired hot tub adds a sense of fun and is easy to use. We also enjoyed cooking outside (gas hob available inside!). The shower/toilet “block” is great, well equipped and clean. Naomi and Darren were so helpful too and helped resolve minor issue we had. We ordered food from the farm shop and the...

"Nice place lovely venue.
In need of a bit of tlc looking a bit tired.
Bit weird that bar is only open if there is a function on. Luckily there was for us.
No air con in bed room. But room was good size
Cheap and cheerful"
"The room was large and airy and comfortable, and very clean. The bathroom had a rainfall shower over the bath, which was lovely - the shower had a decent flow rate (sometimes they can be rather inadequate).
The receptionist was friendly, and check-in was simple.
The Ways Inn is rooms only, (no restaurant) but the nearby services are more than adequate. There is outdoor seating, if the weather is good.
Despite being just off the M5 the Inn is very quiet. Parking is included.
For an overnight stop it was brilliant, and I'd happily book it again."
"Hotel was really nice and clean the staff was amazing friendly and professional. The rooms was clean but the only criticism was the room I had booked was classified as a cosy double room but it wasn’t. it was a single room and not big enough for 2 people. Only because a double bed was in the room doesn’t mean it can be classed as a double room. So if you was a single traveller it would be perfect. The food was nice but a little expensive and it didn’t serve pub grub it seems more gastro food. Apart from that we had a fantastic time. Thank you to all staff at the hotel 🙌"
"We stayed two nights, in the cottage at the side of the inn. 2 rooms, one a twin for 2 teenagers. The rooms were a great size. Clean, comfortable beds and excellent tea and coffee facilities. We had breakfast both mornings and the staff were warm, friendly attentive and very welcoming. The breakfasts were great. We asked advice around public transport into Glastonbury and the staff were very helpful. We ate one evening meal that was good value too, with a varied menu. Would highly recommend."
"A nice Edwardian hotel with many Victorian gothic features. Well maintained and undated.
Lots of shaded parking available.
Nice swimming pool that can be booked in units of 30 minute sessions for lane swimming (over 14's only) during morning and evening sessions limited to 4 swimmers, or the alternative family fun sessions. The steam room and sauna are the other side of the complex from the pool within the gym- unusual setup but nice facilities.
I was upgraded to a larger period room that was very spacious and elegant with a nice view of the plain stretching to the Bristol channel. It was cripplingly hot outside, but the room was moderately cool. Even so, it was better when the fan that reception offered was installed. Thanks to the reception team!
The hotel has a patio with a wonderful view looking out onto the plain where drinks and food can be served.
Although it is a little off the motorway, about 15 minutes, I really like this hotel and have stayed here over five times in the last year. Reasonable priced in a quiet and beautiful location, even though the motorway passes within a mile you hardly notice it unless you look for it.
Final note avoid GPS recommendations to go through the little villages and lanes Google says it is quicker but takes twice the time! Follow the hotel advice and keep on the A roads until you see the Webbington/brown tourist hotel sign."
"PROS: Lovely staff and very good food. Stable block room was clean. Bed very comfortable and all linens excellent. Hot water plentiful. Iron and board was a bonus. Quick response to noise disturbance from cretin in next room. Otherwise is quiet. Free parking. Easy walking distance to town centre.
CONS: Room was very tired with elderly furniture. Wifi not good. Frequent buffering and kept going off. No mirror for drying hair near socket. No phone in room, which would have been helpful when dealing with said cretin. There was a card showing a number for reception but didn't see it in the dark. Got a useless bot when I rang the main number.
Despite the above, we would stay again."
