"The place was generally clean but everything was falling apart. The owners tried to maintain as best as they could. They were a lovely couple, honest, straightforward and helpful. The rooms were big, with a view of the lake from every room. The beach was at a steep slant, so a bit difficult to get up and down. The water was clean. "The room was super clean. It was a nice size, and the owner walked me to the room when I checked in. I thought that was a nice touch. It was a very pleasant sleep as well. Ate at the chip truck and the burger and fries were delicious! Overall very impressed and happy."

"Dated but clean. The road leading to Bayshore building needs to be repaired. The staff was helpful but very young. AC in our room was excellent and it was quite clean. The carpet in the hallways was smelly and needs to be replaced. I would suggest a newer building. There were lots of activities offered and water equipment readily available. "We were in Huntsville for dance competitions for the weekend. Luckily we only were here one night. We booked the King bed and pull out sofa for two adults and one child. "close to downtown walking distance to dinning excellent location in town"

"The staff were lovely and they opened the breakfast up early for the Ironman event (4am). However, the property needs better upkeep and cleaning. It was quite dirty and things are broken and falling apart. The smoking area is right by the door, dirty bucks of water by an entrance, dirty carpets and broken banisters. Our toilet kept breaking and there was no fan in the bathroom. They need a higher standard of cleanliness."
