The outside of the property was very well maintained. We had a good view of the lake from our balcony/sliding glass doors. There were lots of towels provided. We stayed 2 nights and our room was made up with coffee pods/ cups replaced for us.

A nice little getaway in Huntsville. The property is nicely located on a lake with access to the water, beach and outdoor activities. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The resort could use some renovations, but overall a nice stay.

Staff was pleasent, room was clean. And lots of activities to keep busy. The noise between rooms was not peaceful. Recommend asking for a room without joined doors. All in all a great experience.

The lake view room with balcony is a must, the view is incredible. Breakfast was just okay for $17 but the hotel overall was very clean and well maintained. Mix up of rooms upon check-in which staff corrected quickly. Note to other travellers to please be mindful of your noise level ie slamming doors, conversing loudly in hallways and unruly children. Our floor was very noisy which is not the fault of the hotel.

We had a great vacation while in Huntsville and were very happy with our stay at Hidden Valley. Our room had a beautiful lake view and the staff were positive and helpful. The morning breakfast was great, coffee was amazing and overall, it was a fun and relaxing resort to be at. We will definitely stay here again!

Overall, the hotel was good and acceptable. The location was excellent, and the beach and views were amazing. The indoor pool was a bit dirty, but the outdoor pool was nice. The AC was somewhat noisy and seemed old, but it was manageable. Breakfast was good, and the resption and staff were excellent and very friendly. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.

Great place for kids lakefront canoes and kayaks and beach. Unfortunately though the place has a bit of a run down feel. It could use some renovations. Staff was very friendly. Kudos to Lana for her understanding and help!

The location is definitely the best part of this resort. The private beach, outdoor pool, and buffet breakfast were excellent, and the staff were nice. However the building is quite outdated, the AC fan was noisy and we could hear noise from the room next door. There is also no elevator, which can be a real struggle if you have heavy luggage and your room is on the third floor. Overall, it was an okay stay mainly because of the great location and amenities

Great little getaway weekend! We were there for the Ironman and this place far exceeded our expectations. Room was great with a lovely view of the lake, beach was nice and sandy, pool area was nice as well. We ate at the restaurant one night which was really good!! Every interaction we had with a hotel staff member was super pleasant. Would definitely come back. Such a hidden gem!

The potential of this property is mind blowing! The views, waterfront and location are exceptional. I can not believe the management and ownership has allowed the property to decay. Ceiling tiles all out of place, holes in the wallpaper, stickers have removed from the dressers. Our headboard wasn’t even attached to the bed frame.

When we booked with Expedia we booked the lake view with a king bed. The room we were assigned had a king bed with a lovely view of the parking lot. When discussed this with reception we were advised that all lakeview rooms have two queen beds and the only description on the paperwork was a room with king bed. The staff were very helpful correcting the Expedia error. In the end we enjoyed our stay.

This property is quite dated for the price they are charging. We asked to have our room done after the first night but it wasn’t done. The restaurant on site was expensive and the food was terrible so do not recommend. The amenities are nice but for the price per night, I would have expected it to be more modern. They have two EV chargers but more of them would be betters. The beach is very nice though.

We had booked a regular room but was upgraded to a larger room for free after the staff had known that we need more space. We appreciated that. The facilities were great, it has its own private beach. Paddle board, kayak, canoe, paddle boat were all free to use. There's also tennis courts and free racquet rentals. The resort is a little bit outdated without elevators. It sometimes ran out of free coffee and hot water and we had to go to the restaurant for the refill. Although the restaurant is very close, it was just not quite convenient. There's also shortage of beach towels from time to time. Staff were mostly very nice though. This is a resort fee was the lowest among other resorts and hotels in the same area. With this low price, I would say the service is fair.

Food was not the greatest. Menu was limited, breakfast buffet was mediocre, had to wait quite a while for coffee to be refilled. No lunch is available. Quite a lot of stairs from the resort building to the beach and outdoor facilities that should be noted especially for seniors and persons with mobility issues. As well there are no elevators on the premises which should again be noted. Staff were excellent. Very helpful and pleasant.
