"The hotel is great honestly. Maybe not as close to the center but the rooms are spacious, the hotel is well maintained, there were different nglish language channels on TV. There's a very nice park infront of the hotel Rambrandt park. An 8 minute walk to amsterdam lelylaan station which is a small train station you can go to zaandam from that not needing to go to Central station. It is also a 5 minute train ride from there to the airport. There's also a tram station 2 minute walk from the hotel...

"The breakfast was very good and the room was wall-to-walled bed. We had no standing room and it was crowded space with a toilet being the only seat. It's mostly a Muslim area, but everyone was very nice. The greatest feature about the location where the stores that were just a few yards away, and the tram was right there, and the staff was really so nice and polite and helpful."

"There is no interest places nearby. The only good things are this apartment is close to train station and the room is very big and cheaper than other hotels in Amsterdam. If you plan to visit museums, red light district and spend most of the time in city center, I would recommend to choose hotels in Amsterdam Central. "

"Lovely hotel and our second time visiting, the only thing we weren’t keen on was the new self check in service, it just felt quite impersonal! We preferred it when there was a proper reception. Other than that, more food options where reception is would be handy as there aren’t too many places local. Nice hotel but these are just personal preferences. Staff helpful when they were there."

"Hotel was really nice and cosy and the room was super modern and nice, I only had an issue (in the room with our window) that it was so so loud at night, sounded like waterfalls behind the walls and it was barely possible to sleep, unfortunately."

"There were signs of bed bugs in the room. I found bed bug feces under the sheets of the bed as well as blood on the wall. After discovering this I immediately packed up and checked out almost immediately after checking in. I had to book 2 new hotels and the property and Expedia weren't helpful for a refund so I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS"
