The hotel is in a small mall, in an area where north African people seems to be prevalent. The place is clean, shops close early and there are no noisy spots. My wife and I never felt unsafe.
The place is about half way between the Shiphol airport and the city center; bus 369 goes to airport, tram 17 goes to city center; both journeys requiring about 40 minutes.
Rooms are very small, exactly as advertised; breakfast is continental (no eggs), but pleasant, with bread, meat, pastries, juice, coffee or tea. It's "take all you can eat, but eat what you take".
