"Upon arrival the parking is a bit narrow but definitely manageable. Checking is simple and well communicated by the hotel via email, and WhatsApp. There is no staff to welcome which was known to us so no complaints there. The rooms were cozy and clean when we arrived and good wifi as well. Bathroom was clean and in good condition. Also breakfast was no longer available but again we knew that so it did not bother us. The lodge is a 10-15 minute walk into town with a shop in between that so it's handy and avoids having to drive through Westport which can be a nightmare. Great views as well on the walk to the hotel. Checking out was very simple as well. For the price compared to every other place in Westport this place is a no brainer, it delivers on everything available, a comfy bed, a clean room and bathroom."

"My husband and myself stayed for 2 nights in Knockranny Hotel and it was fabulous from beginning to end. The place is well appointed and very clean , facilities were excellent . Food was really superb and the Staff were so friendly and helpful.I would recommend this place to anyone ."

"Excellent location by the quay, approx 30 minute walk from the main town. Modern conversion of old mill building, we paid extra for a balcony and felt it was very good value, with lots of extras provided by the hotel. Comfortable bed, good sized room, private balcony, good bathroom, very good bars and restaurants (grill on ground floor, roof top with views). It was quiet with only a couple of other pubs nearby, although both had excellent beer gardens overlooking the sea. There is also a 90 minute cruise around the islands 5 minutes away. The leisure facilities looked good but were unfortunately closed for maintenance during our stop."

"A wonderful stay at Mulranny house! Sarah was a wonderful hostess who provide guidance and lovely breakfasts. The room was large and comfortable with lovely private views of Clew Bay. Mulranny itself was a lovely quiet hub for exploring a beautiful area of Ireland. My highest rating!"
