"Everything about our experience was excellent, and the food was absolutely amazing. A special mention goes to Spa Sula—it is a must-try and was truly the highlight of our visit! The only minor issue is that the parking is quite limited. We arrived on a weekday and luckily found a spot, but it might be a bit more challenging during the busier weekends."

"The resort is a bit out of the way but that was what made it special. No cell phone coverage at the resort so you have time to reset and enjoy your surroundings."

"Best thing about this place is the bed and reception staff. Bed was incredibly huge and comfortable. Reception staff were great, helpful and understanding. Sadly that's it. The pool area, changing rooms and surrounding areas very unhighenic. Lots was also out of order, the steam room and jacuzzi for example. Broken hairdryers and lockers in the changing rooms. Drinks and dinner was expensive but service was pretty bad. I struggled to get served at the bar while the staff were busy arguing with...

"Lovely big room, staff welcoming"

"Lovely property but getting to rooms difficult and very small elevator. Asked for help with luggage and all he did was bring up trolley. We are 4 seniors. Dinner in hotel lovely but need more experienced help. She was only about 16 and couldn’t answer any questions nor figure out how to do two bills. A hotel of this quality needs better staff"

"The property was stunningly attractive. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. To get to town was a twenty minute walk where all the eateries and shops and bars were. I ended up getting a taxi back on three occasions as it was mostly uphill on the return. Then again I am over seventy years old."

"Very bare bones hotel, no tea/coffee, water glasses, tv, etc. Fine if you are in and out for one night, but simply just a room with a bed."

"WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. "

"Great location in Cong. Close to everything. Parking wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only advice is that they don't have an elevator/lift. If you're on the second floor, you will have to haul your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. Also, like most places in Ireland, no wash clothes. "
