"I've stayed at the hotel multiple times and never had a problem until Wednesday 15th July. The building is obviously old so limited to what they can do, but second floors rooms in peak summer are like pizza ovens. The small ancient fan is not enough and I barely slept."
"Location is superb, 100 ft to Chippenham bus station, and leads than 10 minutes bistro from the train station. Room is spacious, so is the bathroom, big and renovated. Courtyard is nice. There is a leisure pool at site too. Huge parking lot at back. The buffet breakfast offered was full English style and truly great. Staffs were super friendly. "Terrible no body there and was accused of taking a radio from room which is a dam lie why on earth would a person do something so low never ever again"
"I had a warm welcome and my case was taken up to my room. The room was large with king sized bed. All clean, dated, but that suited the age of hotel! There was a small table with kettle and a selection of tea, coffee etc. Large en-suite with large shower.
Lots of choices on breakfast menu and cooked freshly. Parking was easy.
Location was excellent. 5 minutes walk to Lacock Abbey. Lacock is a very small place but very interesting."
"Positives. Staff friendly and helpful, food (dinner and breakfast) was enjoyable and well presented.
Negatives. Decor was tired, handrails need cleaning, room windows need attention."
