"Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! Nice fresh croissants and goot drink selection I have stayed before and will stay again due to price, location, lovely romantic stay"

"This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay ."

"The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. "

"Nice, clean, small. Rooms and hallways very small. Imagine a hostel room with a nice bar and cafe. Very nice staff. Parking is wherever you can find it, expect a walk."

"We stayed in cottage 3 only one night unfortunately as I could look at that view from our window forever. The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay . The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Most of all very,very dog friendly , excellent ! "

The staff were friendly and helpful adding to the cosy atmosphere in the bar/lounge/dining areas. Breakfast was more than adequate and would recommend the restaurant meals."
