"First of all, the journey to this hotel is spectacular. Upon entering our room, we felt comfortable whilst surrounded by a lovely room, perfectly accented for a mountain chalet feel. This is a high quality hotel with great food, (breakfast and dinner). There is a shuttle available in the mornings to the train station. The walk isn't long, but it is up hill and we used the laundromat there; the lift helped a bit! We hope to return soon! Ursula was warm and gave us wonderful ideas on how to enjoy her village and the alps."

"This hotel was fantastic, from the staff (extremely friendly and accommodating), to the hotel rooms (beds comfortable, pillows/sheets super soft, space decorated nicely), to the amenities (spa). We had the half board added onto our package which meant we got breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was a buffet style; with a ton of delicious options to select from. The lady attending breakfast was extremely friendly and attentive. We assumed the dinner would be similar to breakfast; buffet style but were pleasantly surprised as it was a seated dinner where you selected from the half board menu. The dinner every day was remarkable. If you are planning on travelling to this area I highly recommend staying here as you will not be disappointed! "

"We loved this hotel. We felt extremely welcomed from the moment we arrived. We had a great lunch on the patio before checking in, then had a great Fondue dinner inside after hiking the Panorama trail (the highlight of our entire trip). Breakfast was excellent as well. We got a forest view room, which while small, was updated and modern and made great use of the space. It also had a very nice view of the chalets on the hill and a group of goats. Will be staying there and in Wengen in the future."

"Great property and amazing staff. Unable to control the tempreture in room, so it can get warm or cold in the room. Also, no mini fridge in room abd limited water in room. Bring drinks if you are thirsty."

"The staff here was super helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is great- surrounded by mountains even if we didn’t technically have a mountain facing room. The building itself is beautiful. Walking around the first floor, you see lots of lovely common spaces. It feels very grand and fancy. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in Wengen again."
